DMVGA Privacy Policy 

This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give to us, and when you visit this website. 

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. To be a member of the DMVGA you need to provide certain information by which you can be identified, but it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.  

By paying the membership fee to join the DMVGA, you have given your implied consent for us to collect and store personal information from you that we will use only within the terms of this Privacy Policy

All information collected is treated as confidential and is held on secure servers and complies with all areas of the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR of 2016. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page and will notify you accordingly. This policy is effective from 25/05/2018.

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER 

This will only be used for golf related matters, in all aspects of the administration of our events and provide eligibility to play in our competitions and matches. 

CONTACT POLICY 

We will never pass your personal details to any third party other than our database, which is held on the HandicapMaster system, registered to the DMVGA. 

We will only use your details to help personalise communications and records, regarding any competition held by The Association. 

We will make sure our contact with you is relevant to Golf, and based on the information you give us. You can opt out at any time. All you need to do is change your consent, by using the contact form and submitting.    Opting out will mean you are not eligible to play in any of our events. 

SECURITY 

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures including passwords on our website to safeguard and secure the information we collect physically and online.
