When you complete a ‘Membership Form’ certain personal information is collected from you and all such information is held on secure servers. The DMVGA complies fully with all applicable areas of the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR of 2016. and will treat all your personal information as confidential. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page and will notify you accordingly. This policy is effective from 25/05/2018.

This will only be used for golf related matters, including age divisions in competitions, orders of play, and eligibility to play in any and all of the Association’s competitions and matches.


We will never pass your personal details to any third party other than our database, which is held on the Intelligent Golf System, which is registered to the DMVGA.

We will only use your details to help personalise communications and records, regarding any competition held by The Association.

We will make sure our contact with you is relevant to Golf, and based on the information you give us. You can opt out at any time. All you need to do is change your consent, by using the contact form and submitting.    But remember, if you do ‘opt out’ of giving us the information, then you may be wrongly entered into or deleted from a competition or match.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures including passwords on our website to safeguard and secure the information we collect physically and online.
